Mission Statement
The Milford Elementary learning community will ensure the highest level
of achievement and safety for all students.

Student Statement
As a Milford student, it is my duty to make good choices.  I will choose to be good to myself and the people around me.  My choices will show my willingness to learn and how to care for all people.  I will practice the lifelong guidelines and lifeskills while attending Milford.

Lifelong Guidelines

We believe it is essential to have set of standards for everyone to use in order for all of us to be as successful as we can be.  The lifelong guidelines help promote doing our best job every day.  The teachers and staff are committed to modeling these guidelines for our students and sharing their meaning and purpose.  They include:

TRUSTWORTHINESS: Following school and classroom procedures and showing respect.
TRUTHFULNESS: To be honest and truthful.
ACTIVE LISTENING: Using eyes, ears and heart to give undivided attention and staying on task.
NO PUT DOWNS: Not saying or showing through body language negativity toward others.
PERSONAL BEST: using all of the lifelong guidelines and lifeskills on a daily basis.
